The Full Story

After five years working for a non profit dedicated to support adults with disabilities in the arts, CMC founder Mario Genel reconnected with a former student. During their conversation, his former student shared his excitement about securing a full-time job, but expressed disappointment about the lack of accessible art courses that fit his schedule.

This interaction left a deep impression on Mario. He realized there was a need for flexible art programs specifically designed for adults with disabilities. Reflecting on the importance of creative growth and personal connections, Mario also recognized that mentorship was a powerful tool in the arts

—where artists could inspire and guide one another.

This realization became the driving force behind creating an inclusive art school focused on nurturing creativity and empowering adults with disabilities through mentorship and flexibility.
